Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: OK - parking/trailhead parking is a bit of a challenge. Some locals helped me figure this out. I parked at the large pulloff roadside near Mae's Place (off Route 104 just south of downtown Bristol). I went up the road a few hundred feet towards Bristol. At about house #175 (I think), I took a right up the driveway and quickly an old logging road veered left off that within 50-100'. Very soon there was a trail mileage sign, Forest sign, and permitted uses sign.

Comments
Comments: some difficulty in places where I missed blazes and went on logging/skidder roads

Surprisingly my first time here. Really nice old logging roads and outlooks. Outstanding views towards Cardigan. Large area to explore. Around 700' elevation total for the loop. I descended to North Main Street where the trail is not marked/an old old logging road, and walked the 2+ miles back to car past nice old houses and through pleasant neighborhoods.
