at the bristol/bridgewater town line area off rt 3a i went up hemlock brook rd to the 4 way with coach rd. i parked on the side of coach to the right. |

from parking i walked the remainder of hemlock brook road to a left bend up to a gate. beyond the gate, the walk up to the comm. tower is a bit steep. from there i bushwacked my way over numerous bumps before hitting the summit and the 2 jars on a tree. also, there were cairns on some of the bumps. i couldn't open the jar hanging on the tree that i could hardly reach. brian's jar was stuffed into a branch just under the other one. i was able to sign in after a struggle to open. the return trip was uneventful. nice hike on thanksgiving morning and i was home by 11:20. |
