Comments: The Moglis trail really could use more trail marking. (Cairns).
Descending down Summit of Cardigan, there is a sign that directs you to the Clark Trail...but then markers kind of disappear....it's easy to get off route. AMC ought to be putting more cairns, markers, signs for the Clark trail above treeline....it's pretty easy to get off route.
I backtracked up toward the summit then followed the West Ridge trail (which was well marked) off the summit and then hiked past the Rangers Cabin...eventually locating the Clark trail at the AMC High cabin. Again....Clark trail is not well marked above the AMC High Cabin....lot's of places to get off route and end up in the bushes. Better signage = better safety...

Quite a few places where it was necessary to navigate around frozen water runoff of the trail and slabs.
I didn't put on my micro-spikes because I didn't want to hassle with putting them on and then taking them off
a short time later. Instead I chose the navigate around the frozen runoff which was doable but it would have been safer/smarter
to put my spikes on.
