Comments
Comments: A FINE day to play chicken with the winter weather advisory. It's been a spell since sidehill and I have teamed up for a peak. It was actually both of ours 11/12 of Waumbek. It was pretty surreal to hike with someone who between the two of us have over 1000 4k summits! "are you peeing? no... views!" Bareboot through the hardwoods, spikes at the softwood section to summit and back. Superb highway conditions up high atleast for today. Snow was getting heavier as we dropped to the car. It was lovely powdered sugar conditions down low. Not much accumulation, though. As of 1500 today, north of notch: 37 and fine conditions. In Franconia Notch: 30 and squalls. In Lincoln 38 and nothing sticking. Sun is down now so that will change.
