Water Crossing Notes: I started this hike in Massachusetts, at the Rt.119 trailhead. There are some wonderful new plank bridges across the stream just north of the parking area. There are some sturdy wooden bridges at the Binney Pond area as well.

Comments: There was no need for wearing traction today; the trail had numerous sections of half-frozen water, frozen mud, and snow that I was able to negotiate with bare boots.
