exposed ice glazed rocks on a couple of crossings rock hoppable with care. levels are fairly low |

trails overall in super shape 1 duck under blowdown 1 stepover and one walk under blowdown all in approximately the 1st mile |

Beautiful morning for these two peaks. Ascended South peak first after putting micros on at beginning of loop trail.the micros stayed on until just the end of hike. Trace amounts of snow up to approximately 8" at upper elevations with minor drifting. Snowshoes stayed in the trunk today. it was excellent crossing paths and chatting with a group of 3 hikers today as well as two others one of which is working on their over 70 48. i met a total of 7 hikers today enjoying this late November morning |
