Comments
Comments: 1-2" fresh snow over well packed base (from weekend traffic).
Trace/dusting of snow down low. Maybe 8" higher up and along the ridge.
Spikes on after the first stream crossing, kept them on til nearly back to the car.
Ice in the trail going up, mostly obscured by the fresh dusting.
Perfect conditions for microspikes.
Winter wonderland with snow-encrusted conifers and lacy hardwoods.
