Tucker and Grace accompanied us today. They did well and are experienced trail pups. It would not be a good idea to bring an unseasoned dog on this hike right now. Congratulations to Tucker for finishing his NH48. |

Spikes all the way to Zeacliff. Snowshoes should have gone on there but we held off until Zeacliff Pond Spur. They stayed on until descending Mt Bond. There was about 8 inches of new snow on top of the 6 plus base. Then spikes all the way to Lincoln Woods. There were a couple spots below Bondcliff where snowshoes could have been used but they were broken up by rocky stretches. Saw no onthers on trail and just a lone set of footprints that went up to Bondcliff. After a chilly start we were rewarded with fairly light wind and plentiful sunshine across the Bonds. Great day out with Dan, Tucker, Lynn, Denise, Marc, Grace, & Eric.
