Comments
Comments: Flume Slide Trail was a bit icy on the way up, but no major issues. The trial was used by a dozen or so today. Spikes or crampons needed. Franconia Ridge Trail was well tracked to the junction with Liberty Springs trail. Between Liberty Springs and Little Haystack was little travelled with 6 inches of unconsolidated new snow. Little Haystack to Lafayette and Greenleaf Hut was well packed and consolidated. Greenleaf Trail from the hut to the Tram lot had a few recent boot tracks with about 6 inches of unconsolidated new snow. Snowshoes would have been handy on some of the unconsolidated snow.
