Over the road walk and into the woods, on crunchy ice and snow we go. No snow depth per se, wore spikes all the way, on ice, roots, rocks and snow. Windy on top so just a short stop but calm winds the rest of the way. Great views from ridge and balmy temp air for most of this clear, blue day. Some sketchy ice flows, so slow as you go but slip and fall once I did. What can I say, a great hiking day and got my Carrie December grid. |
