 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
At the trailhead on Lower Doetown Rd. in Rumney. Neither the road nor the parking area were plowed, but vehicle access is not a problem at the moment. Noticed that the old trail sign at the junction with Cross Rd. is gone and has been replaced by a hiker symbol sign. |

 | Comments: |
Took a quick spin up here today after an appointment in Plymouth. Up the hiking trail and down the snomo trail all the way to the trailhead.
Spikes weren't essential down lower, but above the main snomo trail crossing, they were definitely needed due to ice lurking under the snow, especially in the switchbacks. Snow depths were minimal with plenty of rocks and roots still showing. Not enough coverage yet for snowshoes.
This hike continues my long streak of not having clear weather on this mountain. 😎 |
