Comments
Comments: No sight of snow!!! Lots of running water on both trails, which starts turning into ice at higher elevations (about halfway up). The Winslow trail isn't super-icy but there were a couple spots where some thinking was required. Barlow was much wetter and icier, with some creative rock hopping in spots. Had microspikes with me but zero reasons to put them on today. Black ice flows on granite slabs were the biggest hazard. Crazy wind up top, as expected. Excellent day to test clothing, bummed I didn't get to play in the snow.
