 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
ICE! No sand was down, just glare ice. Studded tires help. Spikes are a good call to put on before getting out of your car.
3 Other cars in lot on arrival, one arriving moments after. And another when I was leaving. |
|
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Small Patches |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction |
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Easy. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
All ice was avoidable, but I did use spikes in parking lot!! Season to always carry them. Saw a few others who said they were needed in a section of the ski trail. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Great for dogs. My doggo had a great time. Met two others that were also having fun. |

 | Comments: |
Great hike for a clear, mild but windy day! Old Path up, South Peak then North, back down Old Path. Felt like a late fall day. Ready for snowy mountains! Passed about 10 other people throughout my travels, all enjoying the day. |
