Saw one dog ascending the KR trail from Lonesome Lake. It seemed to have little problem negotiating the many ice bulges. |

Surprisingly little to no ice, or where there was ice, always trees to cling to, or roots, or rocks....or something to grab.
Lonesome Lake trail always a pleasurable way to end a hike...steady grades, good footing.
A relaxing outing with "the Old Man and the Saw." |
