Comments
Comments: Yesterday's precip set up overnight, making for crunchy conditions this morning. The trails had been nicely packed by snowshoes prior to yesterday's storm, but unfortunately someone barebooted it yesterday when it was slushy, so there are a bunch of frozen footprints. The snow and mixed precip have covered a lot of the blue ice.

I wore snowshoes roundtrip to minimize the ankle twisting and slight postholing.

Overall, the half foot of snowpack remains in the woods with a breakable crust on top.

Ice starting to form on Squam Lake.

Support liberty.
