Comments
Comments: Majority of CRT was packed snow requiring only micro spikes all the way to summit of South Peak. There were a couple large areas of semi-frozen mud on the lower part of the trail. Mt. Cube Trail/AT and side trail to North Peak were not broken so snow was deeper and snow shoes were helpful. Not sure I followed exact trail. Not a lot of blazes and because trail was not broken it was a bit difficult to follow especially close to the peak. Mostly followed animal prints which seemed to follow a trail. Beautiful clear day with expansive views, especially from North Peak where there is a great view of Moosilauke, the Tripyramids, Carrigain, Carr Mountain and many more.
