 | Comments: |
Attempt at Whiteface derailed by the tantrums of a 5 year old who changed her mind about the hike 0.75 miles in. My apologies if her shrieks disturbed the peace of an otherwise beautiful day. We wore snow shoes in the 5†of soft new snow. Spikes would have worked too, my preference is for the snowshoes because you can just drag your heels through the soft snow, it’s less jarring and quite pleasant. I was having a marvelous time, I was very disappointed in the child malfunction. |
