I used snowshoes the entire way, as I think they offer the best traction on packed snow. However, light traction is fine for just Waumbek. Snowshoes a must for S. Weeks. A previous group had broken trail to south weeks, where their tracks stopped. Very nice snowshoeing in their packed, but soft tracks. |
