| Comments: |
Down low the snow was sticky and kept building up in the microspikes. Up around 2500-3000', it was powdery, although packed. Would definitely recommend snowshoes, as on steeper sections it was easy to slide back.
Turned back shortly before the summit of Lincoln, as the weather up there was not pleasant. Microspikes are sufficient for the ridge line, as there is not enough snow to utilize snowshoes due to winds. |
