Glencliff
I was curious whether after weekend rain whether the trail would be all ice. Answer: very little ice. (Unlike the pictures over at Ammo) Rather it was hardpack crusty snow. Full ground cover, no bare spots, but lots of rocks poking out. I was surprised how the snow depth didn't increase a lot over elevation. Definitely no need for snowshoes today as frozen solid. And even hypothetically if you did break thru, the depth is small. |
