only 1 blow down on Valley Way that has a bypass used by a lot of hikers |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Deemed the conditions of high winds and low temps unsuitable for Eva and Argos today. They were better off at home. Otherwise, trail is extremely dog friendly, and Eva successfully summited Madison 1 month ago |

| Comments: |
Amazing hard and fast conditions for spikes up and down Valley Way. Several icy sections, though our sharp Hillsounds were perfect on this day. Winds above treeline weren't as high as we anticipated, no issues up Osgood Trail to the summit, kept our spikes on all the way up and down. Appreciated the great company of Elizabeth and Michele today to close out January for the grid, #573 |
