Howe Hill Rd. plowed wide/sanded to last house. Following wheel tracks, we were then able to drive from this point to trailhead parking lot in a 4WD high clearance vehicle with snow tires. Snow depth on road - 4-6", maybe a little deeper in dips. |

Pleasant winter hike on a wide trail to a peak with great views.
A couple of spots on the trail had thick, frozen ice.
Grades - easy
Trail surface conditions - ideal - hard packed snowshoed, no churning, no postholes. |
