Stunner of a day out there, as the forecasted wind never really materialized.
Gorham area did not get a lot of snow from the storm; maybe 2-3†tops. Trail was mostly ice covered with a layer of powder. All of us opted for spikes door-to-door, and that was fine.
If you really were hellbent on wearing snowshoes, you could, but we really need another 6-12†of snow to cover everything.
Great to see a bunch of familiar faces out there today! |
