Comments
Comments: Trail is a bit awkward with a breakable crust on top of frozen granular with lots of divots. One could get by with spikes, but the divots were small enough that snowshoes minimized the ankle rolling.

Cold morning around -3 and wind. Winona and Waukewan are iced over.
