Comments
Comments: Bluebird day for these peaks. A last minute change of plans turned out to be a Delightful day. -3 at the trailhead this morning and 7 on return. Micros on from the start until approximately 1000 feet up WRT then switched to snowshoes for the duration. While surface is still slightly bony there is enough cover to use snowshoes utilizing the heel lifts and crampons. Micros were just not cutting it.There were spots of blue ice with granular coating. Spotty drifting throughout WRT.

i met a couple of skiers today on the way down slope otherwise no hikers. There was no issue descending.Once on the slopes the winds were at a whisper and seemed to be in full sun. Definitely a day for multiple layers and no exposed skin.
