Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Sandwich Mountain Trail and Drakes Brook Trail crossings both a bit tricky, but doable on wet rocks.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Cut one blowdown on upper Bennett Street Trail. Maybe half a dozen minor stepover blowdowns on Sandwich Mountain Trail and a few on Drakes. Upper Gleason Trail has some large blowdowns.

Minimal water damage on Sandwich Mountain Trail. A few washouts on Drakes Brook Trail, but it is passable. Also a few places where the brook flowed down the trail and took out waterbars, etc. Access road portion fine.

Comments
Comments: Trails were generally dry, though slippery due to humidity. We hiked over the top and down Bennett Street, a few tenths past Gleason junction, looking for Kamala the lost dog (no luck).

Sandwich Mountain Trail was in normal shape. Drakes Brook Trail has seen some damage, but it is passable and doesn't appear to be dangerous, nor does it have any water flowing down it at the moment.
