Comments
Comments: Bye bye Microspike conditions - snowshoe season has returned.

Unsure of how much new snow fell due to winds and sleet, but I would guess it was between half a foot and a foot. Two foot drifts on the ridge.

Someone broke out the trail yesterday with snowshoes (thank you!), but there was a lot of drifting overnight. Snowshoes floated quite well due to the sleet layer, only sinking a few inches. Barebooting would have been tedious and (and inconsiderate of those to follow).

Windy morning with temperatures in the 20s and occasional flurries.
