There is an 8†diameter blowdown just under 0.2 miles from the trailhead. It’s not in the most recent trail reports, and I don’t remember seeing it when I was last on this trail (12/2/2021). I am short and I had some trouble getting over it in snowshoes, LOL! |

I just love fresh snow! I only went up to Allen’s Ledge as the windchill was a bit much for me. I didn’t see anyone else today. It was a fine day in the new snow! |
