Comments
Comments: A very cold, but sunny day on Franconia Ridge. Temperature at the trailhead was -13 when I started, warming to -4 at the summit. Luckily the winds were mild and it was very pleasant. The trails are packed powder super highways. Microspikes were worn car to car. There was very little drifting on the ridge and some icy stretches between Lincoln and Little Haystack.
