Nice hike to both ponds and then some. I stopped at about 3 miles in where the Mad River crosses the trail. Didn’t feel like taking my snowshoes off to cross. Greeley ponds to Oceola turn off is packed. Less packed the further i went. I broke out some of the trail to the second pond. Only saw one other hiker wearing snowshoes and 6 who weren’t so i’m sure the trail will be a bit choppy. Saw about 10 skiers coming from Waterville Valley side. This is a gorgeous little hike! |
