An update on parking for this trail in winter ... If the formal parking area at the unmaintained end of Howe Hill Rd. (not plowed) cannot be reached by vehicle, please do not park at the plowed end of road near the last house, per request of the landowner. Unfortunately, there have been having increasing issues with people not knowing how to park correctly. These issues have blocked access to their property at times. If there is no available parking for this trail, please consider using Chippewa Trail on the other side of the mountain instead. The winter/alternate parking info for this trail is being removed from the upcoming 31st edition of the AMC White Mtn. Guide as well. |
