 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
We parked in the small lot at the trailhead. The lot that is up the road a bit, just before the trailhead had two cars that we could see, but we continued to the trailhead and there was only one other car in that small lot. |

 | Comments: |
We parked at the small lot at the trailhead. There is also a lot up the road, just a bit before the trailhead, but I have always been able to get a spot here. Based on the trail report from yesterday, we chose to wear Hillsound trail crampons, even with the light snow last night and this morning, the trail was so packed that this traction was fine, no post holing or trashing the trails. Snowshoes would have been fine too. We crossed paths with 4 solo hikers today, three were in snow shoes and one in spikes. We had light snow falling from start to finish, nice temps, and it was a beautiful day! Socked in at the view points, but always enjoy Cabot regardless. |
