Comments
Comments: We parked at the small lot at the trailhead. There is also a lot up the road, just a bit before the trailhead, but I have always been able to get a spot here. Based on the trail report from yesterday, we chose to wear Hillsound trail crampons, even with the light snow last night and this morning, the trail was so packed that this traction was fine, no post holing or trashing the trails. Snowshoes would have been fine too. We crossed paths with 4 solo hikers today, three were in snow shoes and one in spikes. We had light snow falling from start to finish, nice temps, and it was a beautiful day! Socked in at the view points, but always enjoy Cabot regardless.
