Close to an inch of new snow fell overnight. Trail is still very soft, particularly the summit loop. Unfortunately, some people chose to Microspike, leaving a bunch of postholes up high (self-serving action similar to peeing on the toilet seat). I fixed what I could with my snowshoes.
Temperatures hovered around freezing this afternoon as clouds lingered. Brief, but decent sunset from the summit ledges. |
