Zealand, Guyot, Bond, West Bond out and back from Zealand Hut
Absolutely perfect day on the Bonds, views were fabulous! Snowshoes are a must. The Twinway is fairly well packed up to Zeacliff; beyond that the snow is deep and unconsolidated. Twinway between Zeacliff and Zealand was really beat up with postholes, some very deep in places, especially where there are deep snowdrifts. We did some trail grooming with our snowshoes but it is still rough in places. Congrats to Joanie K. for finishing her Bonds grid! I plan on posting some pics on FB tomorrow. |
