Comments
Comments: A dusting to a half an inch of powder from yesterday's storm. Old Mountain Road has been snowmobiled recently (both sides of the ridge), so it's fairly well packed out. There are some blue ice bulges that can be easily climbed or avoided by snowshoes, however it looks like a Microspiker lost purchase on one of them and took a bad fall (and didn't go any further).

Crawford Ridgepole was drifted over in a few places, but fortunately the postholes are starting to get repaired from snowshoe traffic. Snowshoe country. If you want to bareboot or Microspike, head over to the Old Bridle Path instead.

Chilly temps in the single digits, but no wind at sunrise.
