Parked at the trail head parking lot. The usual winter conditions, our jeep was fine going up and down the road. |

Only small one trickling, easy to step over. |

Two newish blow downs, on is a duck under and the other big one has heard paths going around each side. |

Our doggo had a blast as always :) We did not see any other doggos. |

We were the fist vehicle in the lot at 8am. The trail is packed solid! Just after Starr King there was a very slight dusting of snow over the packed snow, and then just before Waumbek summit there was the usual drifting, but nothing major. Hillsound trail crampons start to finish. On our descent we passed a solo hiker and then another group of about 5 or 6. Cold but beautiful day, and gorgeous views!!! |
