The trails below treeline were packed out but not solid enough for light traction; above treeline, they were drifted over most of the time. Needless to say, I wore snowshoes the entire hike. Super cold out, but the views of and from Cardigan and its subpeaks were absolutely spectacular. Didn't see anyone else the entire hike, so I had those views all to myself! |
