|Hiking Trail Conditions Report|
||North Pack Monadnock, NH|
||Carolyn's Trail, Cliff Trail, Ted's Trail|
|Date of Hike:
||Thursday, January 27, 2022|
|Parking/Access Road Notes:
||The small parking area for Ted's and Carolyn's is not plowed, but it had been driven into. I opted to park along the road, getting off of it as much as I could. All parking here may be non-existent after this weekend's storm. |
||Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular |
||Light Traction |
|Water Crossing Notes:
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||New trail map at the trailhead. Noted that the short connecting paths between Ted's and Carolyn's are now signed and blazed. |
|Lost and Found:
||As of today, all of these trails were very solid but also not smooth; the upper sections were particularly churned up. Snowshoes wouldn't have been of much benefit due to the firm surface, but they will be essential after the incoming snowfall.|
Nice to run into Red Rum and friends at the top of Carolyn's. Thanks for the jokes!
