Comments
Comments: Walked approx 2 miles on groomed, snomoed Sandwich Notch Rd. to a point roughly N of summit. Short bw to several high point contenders. High point appears to be a spot where a barrel hoop is hung on a tree.
Returned on road approx .75 mile to drainage leading to Atwood Pond. Bw SSW 1.5 mile, in wide open hardwoods, in drainage and W side of ridge bumps to the 2400' bump located on ridge W of East Weetamoo. Stopped here, with intent to reach the Weetamoos tomorrow. Returned to road and vehicle.
Surface conditions to Hall Ponds Mt. - ideal - 0'-4" powder on supportive base.
Grades - easy
Woods - sparse/wide open hard woods
