Comments
Comments: From vehicle, followed Johnson Brook Rd. which soon becomes unplowed, but snomoed. Continued on road past bridge- NF boundary. Followed road another .2 mile and started bw.
Bw N soon crossing a logging road and then hitting snomoed Dick Bradley Rd at 1500'. Continue NNW until 1800' and then turned NE to col located SW of Hix. Picked our way through boulder strewn steeps to the recognized high point. No jar found, only a dangling string. Followed our tracks back to vehicle.
Surface conditions - 0'-4" powder on a supportive base. Many rocky outcrops on S facing slopes.
Grades - some easy, much moderate, one steep pitch
Woods - open soft woods at start of bw, then becoming sparse woods to summit.
