Comments
Comments: One hiker arrived just after us but headed up the trail in snowshoes ahead of us (trail was previously broken by a hiker or two but was still very soft). We also wore snowshoes the entire way (up and down) and conditions were close to perfect on the way up with some deeper, drifted areas that needed to be rebroken.

Met a nice gentleman on the way up, but his snowshoes were on his pack(???) and he had left some especially big postholes in the areas where the snow was deeper or drifted. Couple behind him wore snowshoes and flattened it back out (Thank you!). Met one last hiker without snowshoes who ripped up the trail again. Due to the cold temps today, the snow is really soft and needs more snowshoe use to pack the trail down. What a gorgeous day it was! Strap on your snowshoes and get out there!
