Comments
Comments: Clear skies and awesome views today with warmer temps and a brisk breeze in the morning. I was able to see the snow capped mountains of Vermont in the distance and great views of Washington and friends. Crawford Path from the road to Eisenhower was in good shape and tightly packed. Winds were about 25 mph on the ascent to Eisenhower and about 35 mph on the summit - chilly but bearable with the warmer temps. The snow was packed but softer from Pierce to the trailhead and actually sticky in some stretches - the spikes balled up on some stretches. Wore Hillsounds all day and saw only six hikers.
