Both of these trails are well packed out, but snowshoes are still best. From a short distance below Potash Summit, I began bushwhacking towards the Downs Brook. I crossed the Downs and hit the UNH tr. 1/4 mi. or so below Hedgehog Summit. Breaking off trail was effort, but not too difficult in current powder conditions. |
