Comments
Comments: Snowshoed up snomoed Johnson Brook Rd approx .5 mile to just before next bridge. Turned S and started bw to summit in SSE direction in wide open hardwoods. Approached summit from NW in open mixed woods - nothing thick or potentially sprucy. Large blowdown nest near summit. Reached recognized highpoint and jar. Followed tracks back.
Breaking effort - minimal - 0"-3" powder on supportive base.
Grades - easy
Woods- wide open hardwoods, open mixed woods
