this will all change with the warm weather of course but yesterday the wind was causing drifts at about 4000 ft and above up to the hut.mainly packed up until that point and spikes were fine. snow shoes recommended for that portion (and rest of VW) especially with warm air moving in. Several deep postholes along the monorail(???). Wind was tough and was knocking us over so we turned around with 65 ft of elevation left???? |
