Comments
Comments: Warm day in the mountains. Trail was packed down smooth. Snow was a bit soft but it wasn’t even clumping on the microspikes. The views kept changing with the clouds. The skies threatened rain but we never got more than a few drops. The trail was sheltered from the prevailing winds until the tippity top. Stayed at the summit for just as long as it takes to experience the windy elements, made a small snowman just below true summit, and then quickly headed back down. Trail is in great condition, just a few post holes on the sides that will fill in next snowfall. Happy trails!
