I had posted a trail report on Wednesday but it must’ve not gone through. The trail was in great shape. I wore micro spikes start to finish and carried the snowshoes. Pierce was my first of the Nh48. About halfway up I met a older gentleman that was on his 47th. Cool moment with two people meeting at opposite ends of their lists. Good luck to him reaching 48. I made it to the Webster cliff sign and lost the trail to the actual summit because of drifting. I’m not worried about it because I’ll hit in the summer when I do the traverse. |
