Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: There are three water crossing worth reporting on. All three are after the black pond bushwhack and before the Brutus bushwhack. I made it across all three successfully going both ways, but it was tricky. For crossing number one I went up stream a bit and crossed on a log using my poles for balance. For crossing two I went up stream a bit and found a narrow section to jump across. For crossing three I put garbage bags on my feet and legs and crossed over two logs placed across the river and again used my poles for balance. The third crossing was by far the most challenging.

Comments
Comments: The trail was well packed to start out, but with the snow we got during the hike and will be getting later, snowshoes would be nice.
