Comments
Comments: One of the best things about winter hiking is televators.

New Path has really been chewed up by people postholing. Given how everything had frozen solid since the last thaw, it made for some funky ankle bends even with snowshoes. Not cool.

The ski trail isn’t as bad as I expected in regard to postholes, but there were several areas where the snow was so thin that rocks were fully uncovered and even some grass was visible. So if you’re skiing, watch for the rocks and grass patches until we get more snow.
