An excellent afternoon team hike of these peaks to help celebrate Liams Grid finish on Mt Jefferson. Congratulations!! Winds by late afternoon were minimal and temperatures were exceptionally mild. Trail conditions mentioned earlier were spot on. lots of blue ice at upper elevations, sea of ice along the Cog as well.snow shoes along for the ride today. Was able to bareboot the first part of Jewell Trail then switched to Hillsound Trail Crampons, eventually switching to Hillsound micros before heading over to Mt Jefferson. It was nice crossing paths and chatting with many on this beautiful late February day. |
